One of my all-time favorite airline commercials…capturing the “magic” and excitement that characterized airline travel in the 1970s. This commercial has become iconic….born of a time when air travel was considered special. Featured prominently in this video is the DC-10 Luxury Liner which despite its problems, remained a favorite of so many flight attendants. This commercial was filmed at LAX…with the initial scenes filmed at the Super Bay Hangar…and featured LAX-based employees, including the “star” flight attendant who remains as beautiful today as she was in this commercial. Truly a highlight in the history of airline commercials.
