Hawaii Vacation with Kids

If you really want to go to a place that is definitely breathtaking, Hawaii is the number one location to go to. With the place’s stunning islands, everything you can see is pure beauty. But don’t just experience the adventure alone. In fact, you should also let your kids experience the wonders of Hawaii as well.

To start your Hawaii adventure, let yourself and your kids go boogie surfing in Waikiki beach and feel the rush you are about to take. Body surfing can be a zestful activity too. Whenever you are hungry, you may want to eat some luscious cheeseburgers at the paradise restaurant. You kids will surely love them. After your meal, try visiting the Honolulu zoo. Although it’s just a mini zoo, rest assured that it’s worth the trip. After the zoo, you may want to have some photos of your kids near the flamingos at the flamingo pond and you can take pictures as many as you want.

The bishop museum is a unique place to visit. Here, you and your kids can witness hula dancing events. However prior to leaving the island, you might want to visit the North Shore beaches. This is where the most popular surfers gather en masse so it’s better not to miss this opportunity.

If you have also decided to visit Maui, never fail to go to the biggest aquarium of tropical fishes in America, the Maui Ocean Center. If you want to take pictures with dolphin statues as your background, you better take a tour to this place. The Lahaina is also an excellent place to visit. Most especially during the winter seasons, either you can visit the whaling museum or perhaps the actual whales in the Lahaina harbor.

In Ka’anapali, it is a wonderful place to go to in order for your kids to really have fun. They have numerous resorts having stunning beaches, pools and some have water parks as well. This is the perfect moment for parents to let their kids have a great time while they are resting.

On the big island of Hawaii take a drive through Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. You can see active volcanoes and possibly some lava flow from the comfort and safety of your own rental car. Next take a ride over to Waimea and take the kids for a horseback ride through the valley. You could do an all day excursion complete with lunch, or perhaps just pony rides for the little kids. Lastly you could go to North Kohala and try kayaking. This is a great place for beginners.

The island of Molokai will offer some good old fashioned rest and relaxation in an authentic Hawaiian atmosphere. You could rent mountain bikes and explore the island together. Be careful, however, not to go too far off the trails, because it’s easy to get lost on the mostly undeveloped island. On this island you should consider renting a house so the kids will have plenty of room to spread out. Also there aren’t too many hotel options here on Molokai.
