@wildbill1911A1 i do believe you. this theme of yours, the “joie de vivre,” threads all your videos…for me, it points to a simple refusal to accept the world that was handed down to you…so full of flaws. thank you.
No way, I’m going to Chicago tomorrow, I’m flying from New Jersey though.
@drewnetwork AHEM…. the TPOIOM will relaunch in June as 25 pounds of in 25 weeks. Did I mention which June that would be?
“No problems, so far.” This builds suspense and implies problems await us on this adventure.
Also, what happened to the ten pounds in a month? Did I miss something, or did that mission fade off like a DREWnetwork production?
@LITTLER0CKAR I expect there are several reasons I get away with it… I’m tall, and so a bit intimidating… also, being white, I blend in. I do hope you’re wrong about the “you could not get away with that if you were black” Honest, I do hope you’re wrong.
@FromUnderTheRock I am giving serious thought to a train trip to Chicago in the near future. There will be video.
it’s amazing how, especially in today’s social climate, you get away with as much as you do. however, social psychologists do provide us with several theories of why a person like you is able to roam about society seemingly unrestrained with a camcorder in your hand. interesting, really. let’s just say this: you;d never be able to get away with this if you were black. LOL ;0)
I don’t travel by air too often. I’m cheap and rarely short on time. Flying leaves me deflated and brings my mortality into crystal focus–but it’s not the flying–it’s more the act of covering so much distance in so little time. To arrive so far from home so quickly only to discover a world existing so completely without me, and suspecting that the world I have left behind has hardly missed a beat at my exit….it’s a feeling I don’t get on the bus.
Only cramps and fleas.
