    @black05srt be advised, in some states its illegal for truck drivers to even have weapons in their truck!

  2. warblerab says:

    think that it is absolutely ridiculous that the TSA can break the locks on your luggage without having to compensate you.

  3. black05srt says:

    What if i leave it inside the truck unloaded with a lock

  4. GunWebsites says:

    @black05srt

    of course not .. ignorance of the law is no excuse.. learn the law of the land where you are and where you plan to go

    The TSA is a bunch of nazis. I took a trip south to visit relatives last December, and while I was there I got a gun book as a Christmas gift. I obviously had to bring it back in luggage, and I chose to leave it in my checked bag to keep it safe. Big mistake on my part, they did an open search of my bag and marred up the outside of my book (including putting a crease in the dust jacket). I know this because they put their little checked paper inside of my book.

    what other states does my michigan ccw allow me to carry?

  12. GunWebsites says:

    @tglassburner

    Local gun shop, many have them in stock (at least here in Tucson they do)

  13. tglassburner says:

    Where did you get the lockbox?

  14. GunWebsites says:

    @jnewmash

    why not have one?

  15. jnewmash says:

    Why do you have a Utah CCW? My AZ CCW is valid there and many other states due to reciprocity, correct?

  18. Lonewolf6565 says:

    @GunWebsites
    what kind of box did you use for your pistol? who made it?

  19. GunWebsites says:

    @usframe

    Good point, you guys have one of the best Firearms Owners Orgs in the nation.. I use the PAFOA website a lot myself

  20. usframe says:

    for us in PA, this is a good source…pafoa.org/law/carrying-firearms/concealed-carry/reciprocity
    Extremely important to know where one can go without major legal problems. “I didn’t know.” doesn’t work.

    I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I own a Glock 29, 10mm. I can buy a conversion barrel for this gun from LW to fire 40 cal. My question is why do I need to buy a conversion barrel since 10 mm and 40 cal. are the same projectile? The 10 mm barrel in any case should be a stronger barrel given the higher balistics of the 10 mm round. Please advise if you can.

    many out of state CCW are done by instructors in other states.. so check out CCW instructors where you live and see if you can take other states CCW through their schools
