Glendale is a small residential town that is located in the Valley of the Sun in Northwest Arizona. This beautiful town has many sightseeing attractions. Some of the top ones are as following.

The Jobing.com Arena is a famous hot spot in Glendale, with quite a few shows and concerts being held each year. Whenever the Phoenix Coyotes are playing, this place is crowded by sports fans.

University of Phoenix Stadium (formerly recognized as the Cardinals Stadium) is the home-ground of the Arizona Cardinals, the BCS the Fiesta Game as well as the Championship Game. You may think of taking a guided tour of the place on days whilst there’s no game.

The Westgate City Center is Glendale’s premier destination when it comes to dining, shopping and entertainment. The White Tank Mountain Regional Park is a few miles west of the town and not exactly in Glendale. One gets around 21 beautiful miles of biking and hiking trails with something different levels. For the kids, the Waterfall Trail leading to the Petroglyph Plaza is a favorite spot.

The Glendale Xeriscape Botanical Garden of 4 acre displays more than a thousand varieties of cacti as well as other desert plants. The garden is open to all visitors everyday throughout the year and admission is completely free.
