Europe is home to many holiday destinations which attract visitor upon visitor, year after year. Some of the world’s finest beaches can be found on Fuerteventura Island with the busiest and the largest being Sotavento. It seems to be especially popular among kite flyers and windsurfers. The Canaries is also famed for its vibrant night-life with Tenerife, in particular, home to some of the best bars and clubs in all of the Canaries. They can be found along the Vegas-inspired Veronica’s Strip.
Although the paradise-like surroundings are reason enough alone to make the Canaries the destination of your next holiday, the lively nature is not to everyone’s taste. However, some areas are more secluded than others and there are some wonderfully relaxing times to be had at such resorts as Plaza Chica in Lanzarote.
The islands are well known for sunshine every day of the year which is immediately appealing to the British. No matter the reason for holiday makers making their way to the Canaries, the sun seems to enhance the experience and whether we wish to relax or take part in adrenalin-based activity, we can all agree on that.
